Here in the UK we have 33 sport channels on satellite TV, only 1 covers vehicles which is called 'Motors' and that is owned by a french company and as such they mainly cover european motor sports with dubbed commentaries (very annoying)... The other 32 channels are mainly football (soccer to the colonies) and other boring ball type games...

That is so sweet, brings back some memories too, I learn't to drive in one...

HAppy birthday, if you already have a 1:1 vehicle, save the money, you'll need it for fuel...

Retired British Armed Forces, had a really bad motorcycle accident in '97, spent the next 12months in hospital and 2yrs great rehab in the Armed Forces Rehab Centre and was medically discharged in '00, sadly not been able to work since, and have also been fighting the big 'C' since '06...

Considering UK cities have the most CCTV cameras than any other on the planet, I'd have to say I think you need to wake up whilst your walking around and take notice of all the cameras watching you, you squeak in the wrong place and they'll know and if they feel like it they'll take you in for questioning... As for the UK Universities having dorms, you've got to be kidding, the posh/rich (their the only ones who can afford to go to Uni over here) don't like sharing so normally end up renting a flat/apartment...

That's because students over here are spoilt, plus, you have to remember that over in the US they have proper collage/uni campus dormitory's...

Something like this would be great, although I doubt it would be shown here in the UK , so why not use the Internet and the You-Tube thingy and have a MCM channel... Builders could tape certain builds and then pop them to whoever wants to run the channel and then each week they could upload a new build, show tips & tricks, or even have interviews with certain top builders etc... At least then doing it this way, the whole world gets to see and learn about the world of model car building... Just a thought...

Just as I thought this place was starting to get better (again) someone posts yet another anal and totally meaningless post... Who cares if an old post is brought back from the dead, surely it's up the the readers to READ the dates BEFORE entering a poll or posting something, it's easy for the polls, if it hasn't been closed and someone can still vote then said poll is still valid...

Looks great Pat, when BMW made great cars, these days there all computer and no looks, my personal favourites have to be the old style 6 & 8 series though...
