  1. Hi Rick, Can't wait to see the pics. I just have the one, I was planning to build one for my mother but due to problems on the other end I never received it. Since then is has past away, so since I got the Modelhaus Cougar I'll build it anyway as I would have build it for her. I have to buy another Modelhaus Cougar to build the way I would like it. Talk to you later and can't wait to see the pics. Jim
  2. Hi Casey, Thanks for all the aftermarket resin companies that you listed. I'll have to check them out. The Modelhaus kit is outstanding and the turn around time was quite far faster than my other Cougar trans kit. Talk to you later. Jim
  3. Hi Bob, Ours are 3 years old now. They are spoiled little monkeys . They have free reign of the house, they do find strange places to sleep. We have a hunting trip every night to put them in their own room . I'm sure that Blondie had her way also . As you know they can get into everything and that is one of the reasons I'll not be building anything for a few years. I don't want to take a chance of them breathing any dust, fumes. Maybe, If I get a small work shop I could work on something. Talk to you later. Jim
  4. Hi Ed, Your right about Mr. Yost being at the contest. I was so impressed by the paint jobs on his work that I bought the 2nd DVD. I did see a lot of great builds. I know this is not car related but how about the 1/35 scale Gato? Hope to come back in 2013.
  5. Hi Everybody, It's been a while since I've been on. I have my Cougar kit from The Modelhaus. I'm going to post some pictures of the Modelhaus Cougar so if anybody wants one within a 4 to 6 week time frame they can check it out. Thanks to all the modelers from the Richmond contest for your inputs. If there are any oversea buyers that would like a Cougar, I would give Modelhaus a try, you will not be disappointed. Talk to you later. Jim Modelhaus box, Modelhaus kit, Modelhaus other parts,
  6. Hi, Thanks, the Vicky is the AMT kit. I know that there are a bunch of flaws on it. The next one I build they will be fixed. Have a Merry CHRISTmas. Jim
  7. Hi, Thanks. I had some guys at work always getting on my case because I pull for jeff. They were upset because Chevys were winning, so to shut them up. I build this and told them that if Ford wants to win, here's what they need to do . One guy wanted to buy it so he could smash it on the ground . As you can see I didn't sell it. I've had a lot of second looks. By the way, I like all makes and models of cars. Jim
  8. Hi George, Yes my stash keeps growing and she has let me know it. She does not care, which makes life lovely. Just bought another 1/32 scale F-15C (off Ebay). You notice, another. Along the lines of aircraft decals, I quit counting after 1000 sets. I've labeled the pictures of boxes as, one day, someday, and who knows when . I do have a part time job as a small hobby shop. I go to contest and toy shows around the state. I do sell on ebay also, when my real job lets me. I work a rotating shift schedule (8-4, 4-mid, mid-8). After my mother died in May 2011 I've stop building as dealing with estate, which some of the stuff has taken over my garage and my hobby room. Will start back up in 2012 I hope. Talk to you all later. Jim
  9. Hi Again, Here's a few more of the stack of kits I want to build someday.
  10. Hi, Thank you for telling how to get the pictures loaded at photobucket.com. They have been downloaded. Now to rest my brain. My PC skills are not up to date. I will try to post a few pictures in the next few days. Thanks again for your help. in His service, Jim
  11. Hi Guys and Gals, Just a big thank you for your support on this subject of the cougar. I'm posting a few pictures of some of the kits I've built over the years to let everybody know that I do build. The pictures of boxes are on shelves in my garage are full of unbuild kits also. The 56 Vicky was done back in 1991 for my dad (one that he wanted, but never could afford). He passed away in 1999. I know that I will never live to build all them. The builds are not "built by a pro" I build for me so forgive the mistakes/flaws. Seems that I can't upload any pictures. Will add to another post. Talk to you later. in His service, Jim Can someone tell me how to upload some pictures? Keeps telling me that they are too big.
  12. Hi Guys and Gals, I just received a phone call from Don at RR(11-25-11 at 1:15 p.m.). He tells me that if I do not have these pictures removed by the end of the day he is not going to send my cougar and scoops. To me that sounds like blackmail? Why sould I have to remove my pictures before he sends my things? If they are removed today he will send them by monday with delivery confirmation. He's mad because I forgot to say that I received 80% of my order of 3 mustang ragtops and a few other parts in May 2011 (after 6 months of nagging him). If anybody wants copies of the emails that I sent just let me know. I'm tired of his phone calls after I emailed him telling not to call until he sends the rest of the order. He says he is going to play hard ball now. I'm thinking of letting him keep the money and just let others check out the forums so they don't lose their hard earned money as I have. I don't care anymore, he could send me a dozen cougars and he could never get me to order from him again! You know that old saying, one happy customer will tell 10 people and one unhappy customer will tell a 100, I wonder how many a mad customer is going to tell? I'll get a cougar kit from another caster and let you know about it also. Talk to you all later.
  13. Hi Guys and Gals, Here is a picture of my 67 Cougar trans kit from RR. The contest was in Fayetteville, NC, put on by the Lafayette scale modelers. I'll be taking it to all the shows and contest that I plan on going to in 2012. The first picture is from the contest and the second is a closer one from home. Enjoy. Hi Again, I've been corrected by the Mrs.about the pictures. I stated that it was a trans kit from RR, that is not true. It should have been stated, that it would have been a trans kit from RR. Thanks for the inputs on the build. I hope to have any problems noted fixed by the time of the IPMS/USA National Convention in Florida 8-8 to 8-11.
