Hmm ... Draggon, that method does seem to work. Wonder what we're doing wrong. ;-)

I have a quick question for you guys.......... I have a birthday in a couple of months and would like to gift myself a new or slightly used acoustic guitar.
What would be a good brand to be on the look-out for? I have a Trinity River now, and it's not worth the wood it's made from........
My current go-to is a Breedlove Acoustic/Electric 12-string; play it at church all the time. My play-at-homes are an Alvarez Jumbo 12-string, an Ovation Custom Legend and a couple of Gibsons. My advice: don't go cheap, get the best you can afford. Also, check out the instrument in person; don't order a $200 guitar online, you will likely be disappointed.

MORE DELAYS in the S&H Torino???? Really???? It was set for a Oct 2014 release now Oct 2015 but it is pushed back further??? With HUNDREDS of the real cars available all over the country I don't understand the problem. A real car, say an rare exotic hand built car, I can see issues in doing a kit.......a common American sedan......odd.......
With both 'Starsky and Hutch' and 'The Dukes' being properties of Warner Bros., perhaps they've run into yet another licensing snag?

As long a we're pushing our favorites, no matter how slim the chance, I'd like one of these: Geo Storm wagon. Why not? AMT already did the coupe as a promo.

This is the picture that inspired the project.

The idea is to "warm" the can, not superheat it! There was a story about heating one up in a small pot of water on the stove... and forgetting about it... end result was a purple kitchen... at least nobody got hurt on that one. Could've been quite different.
I know a guy who did that very thing; his wife got a redecorated kitchen out of the deal.

I actually saw the Batmobile in West Allis, Wisconsin driving next to me in traffic.
pics???
Hopefully his attention was on driving not operating a camera.

The feel I get for the change is that it was done to make the forum play more nicely with 'mobile devices'. If that's true, it's a good thing for those with mobile devices.
That said, I'm old. My cell phone is a phone. It can take pictures. It can't surf the internet, that's what my home computer is for. I don't see a need to be connected with the whole world at all times and in all places. That's just me; your mileage may vary.

Road Bliss? Miles and miles of this with nary a cop in sight!

Only '59 Mopar I have built, and it's an old one: my 59 Imperial custom.

Just for clarification S41.95 is the SHIPPED cost, the actual kit is only $31.95 when ordering directly from Galaxie Limited.
Hmm .... I just went to their web site and pretended to order one. Grand total was 41.95 plus 10.00 shipping. Where did your info come from?

Concerning the air cleaner on the Red Baron: Allow me to be the first to say "So What, Big Deal!" Or, are we so close to the new moon that we have to turn stoooopid?
-
Wasn't there a 1:1 scale show rod Red Baron built with a slant 6 for the engine?
Pontiac over-head cam 6, actually.

Saturn dealers used to have 1/24 or 1/25 Promos. May be someone still has one.
I've never seen any. Got any pics?

Don is exactly correct.
The Three Window came first (early fall, 1996?), followed by the Speedwagon (late fall, 1996) and the Roadster (early 1997).
All three versions were tooled at the same time and the tooling was completed by summer, 1996.
Cheers....TIm
I am corrected! No prob! All I really remember is the roadster was the first one that I built.

I'm guessing that Revell is looking at ways to get more mileage out of the Rat Roaster '32 with a revamp.
Speedwagon was an early variation (I want to say right after the original roadster). I predates the Rat Roaster by quite a few years.

Fill the rest of us in. What's a XP-47H?

1953 Plymouth wagon by Perry's Resin
Actually, it's a 1954 Plymouth.

King Arthur, Men in Tights, correct? My cousin insists it's the funniest movie ever made. I'll have to watch it sometime.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail. You're confusing it with Robin Hood, Men in Tights, a very funny Mel Brooks movie.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
How much .22LR could you get in a 1/25 model car box? Pretty sure 1000 rounds would go easily, not so sure about 2000 rounds, prolly somewhere in between, call it 1500. Wasn't all THAT long ago I was buying 1500 rounds of .22 every Saturday at Walmart for under $30. We'll never see those days again, I fear.
2000 rounds fit easily (yeah, I checked). If you empty the boxes into the it box it'll probably hold more like 2200-2300.

OK, so this is, what, a first test shot. This is where we find out just what Revell's Chinese mast ... er ... contractors didn't understand. Maybe the errors will be corrected, if the contractors don't charge too much. The Chinese don't make mistakes so it will not be fixed on their dime. Obviously Revell sent them a kids drawing out of a comic book to work from; no way did they misinterpret what a supercharger looks like.

A Japanese company called 'Joker' did a resin transkit of the Mirage. I wasn't aware of Mini Exotics doing one.
I have a Thunder Valley kit around here somewhere. I'll post photos as soon as I dig these up.

Cool concept car! But, it looked a bit different when it ran at Bonneville
Is it even the same car? The only similarity I can find is that they are both red and, ostensibly , Ferraris.

That's really interesting ... the quoted post from me is nothing I ever posted. Why is that happening?
