  1. Finally had some time to get some paint on it. Haven't done the body yet and still need to figure out exhaust. Also still need to get decals made.
  2. thanks. I only have the interior to do and then a few little things and then I can paint it and get it finished
  3. Also got the engine compartment figured out. Had to move a cross member on the chassis to fit the motor right. Also have drilled 84 holes and haven't even started the interior ones.
  4. Finished up the front wheels, with the staggered look. Then got the ride height where I wanted with a slight rake in the rear.
  5. thats what I'm kinda thinking. I Can't make up my mind. I probably won't know until its the last piece to go on.
  6. Got a few more hours into this. Built a few things. New door panels to go with the custom interior, using '69 Torino seats (same as 69/70 mustangs) modified the frame to lower it, and the bed floor. Then added some "structure" piece to the bed that'll be throughout the build. Also built the '69 Torino style hood. Started working on making the square exhaust tips and then got the thought of doing round exhaust tips. Now I can't decide what I like more.
  7. I knew I wanted to lower it and use bigger wheels. Had to have a big V8 motor and IFS instead of the twin I beams. Went to my parts box and found a 428 I had from the Revell Thunderbolt with the headers, found some bigger wheels and tires that I planed to cut the wheel piece out, found a bomb from something, and a set of 69 mustang seats, and then the hood from a 78 f150. Then got to work. Still have the center of the bed to modify for the chassis mods. Then got to work making the bomb fit the bed, it'll be the air tank for the air ride suspension.
  8. Saw how well everyone's moebius f100s are coming so I decided to join the band wagon. Started with a drawing I did of a 69 F100.

  10. ive been working on this slowly off and on as im doing smaller projects. i been trying to decide on some kind of body kit for this. so ive cut the front bumper off and lowered it down, then added a rear air diffuser, and working on side skirts. but may have to some how lower the ride height more. the bumpers and side skirts are looking to tall now. ill post more pictures once i finally get a chance.
  11. i came across this. looks like theres the cawl hood, 6 point roll cage, rear drag spoiler, drag raging seats, different rims, there was also something about dot drag slicks, gt40 intake, short tube headers, straight pipes, seat belts?, diff cover, then with the stock k-member theres an aftermarket style k-member, then the stock rear axle or maybe its been narrowed?. there was word of it being a 2 in 1, so you can decide to build it stock or drag version. but ether way ill be buying a couple even if the roof issue isnt fixed.
  12. Ira, the spark plugs on them 4.6 ford are in the indentations in the tops of the covers. then they have a coil with a tube like the new efi hemis have. ford calls it a "coil on plug" setup. heres a link, http://www.amazon.com/FORD-COMPLETE-IGNITION-COILS-DG508/dp/B0031ZDU62 looking good btw. being a ford guy i like anything thats powered by ford.
  13. not enough detail to be real. its a bigger scale model
  14. the back glass is a decal from the revell f250, the newer one that has the brown and white one on the box if i remember right. i've not done decals in some years so it was kind of a pain but i just kinda outlined it and then put in right on the "glass"
