  1. WOW! Excellent brass era replica!
  2. It IS a fun kit! Mine will be less than stock, but that's what I do. Yours is looking really good! Thanks for all of your tips and techniques!
  3. It is TS-55. Almost a Ford dark blue.
  4. Looks great! Now we need you to tell us about your technique.
  5. Too Cool! That looks like the Mura Bros. Willys, in its later form after its R&C appearance in the early sixties.
  6. Last call from Danbury Mint. https://www.danburymint.com/diecast/prod/25B/Limited-Edition-1935-Ford-Deluxe-Coupe_4420-0012.aspx?cm_st=2&cm_s=ps%3a4420-0012&cm_eolp=1 $250 each (gulp), 2500 units. I might pass, although I AM thinking about it.
  7. Same thing for FoMoCo. They'll be watching how the kit is represented.
  8. Rep's and Mins used to offer a complete '36 body (for use with the AMT kit) with a chopped roof, mastered by Rik Hoving. One piece body, and just gorgeous!
  9. Nice build! Did you happen to buy the piano hinge from the source shown in the accompanying link? http://www.phoenixmodeldevelopments.com/acatalog/The_Phoenix_Miniature_Hinge_Range.html
  10. I've seen a bunch of DM '47 Ford sedans on eBay, being shipped directly from China to the eBay auction winners. Not sure what that's about. In any event, Danbury is done with die cast car production. I'm told that the very last DM die cast car for sale will happen sometime in February.
  11. OK then! Back to the forefront for this thread. This kit arrived in distribution today, which means it'll be in your local hobby shops by the end of this week, or early next week.
  12. All very cool! Where did the Mullins trailer come from? I might have to try and find one.
