  1. Us Moparites need some good stock full wheel covers. Like for Aspen/Volare, Duster, etc.
  2. Ok, that did it..........you guys just got me to go buy a couple of Deora kits. Awesome! Hey Gseeds, I dig that wild groovy fogged out flower power Chevelle wagon in the background! Very cool.
  3. Yes, I have the '62 Dodge 4 door hardtop. Modelhaus does the '70 and R & R does a '68 Satellite 4 door. The resin '67 is a C-body Fury, just like the Johan '68 kit. Since revell did the '62 in a 4 door hardtop, I figured I'd build my '64 in a 4 door sedan. Surprised no one has done some of these yet........they were popular police cars and taxi cabs. Mine will be all stock, slant six, in an "old lady" color, with dogdishes and white walls.
  4. I know you can get wagons, but I don't see any 4 door sedans or hardtops. The roofline is the same on Linberg 64 Dodge 330 2 door post as on 4 door sedans and hardtops. I'm going to try to do a 4 door sedan out of the Lindberg kit. Anybody done this before?
  5. Gorgeous! Great color choice too!
  6. Very cool.........I remember Joe's Sunoco where I grew up. Old Joe used to let us kids use the pit and change our oil, plugs, etc. Great memories. Still dig the Sunoco blue and yellow.
  7. Anybody know my old friend Don Foote? Been looking for him for a while. He lived in upstate NY years ago, I lived there till '01. Last I knew, he had moved to Las Vegas. He was a modeller from the good ole' days. Built some really cool stuff. I really miss talking to him.
  8. The purple one is my daily driver. These are the only two cars we own. Red one is presentable, but actually needs fresh paint to be show worthy. I wish it was as easy as spraying a kit!
  9. Beautiful vintage iron, or should I say 'styrene!! Good taste my friend. Ol Skool Rodz all the way!
  10. Absolutely gorgeous!!!! Love those early sixties style kustoms!
  11. Here's a couple of crappy shots of my two cars. Both are Belvedere models, I'm planning on building a resin '61 Fury, but without all the Fury trim so I can replicate my '61 Belvedere. That's the original color on both, Toriador red on the '58 and Lavender metallic on the '61.
  12. I'll post a few pics in the 1:1 section.
  13. Nothin' wrong with that! I love a basic ol' skool deuce. Looks awesome. Love the color choice and the wide whites.
  14. Here's one of my cases, this is the sort of thing I do. In this particular case we've got a '60 Dodge Dart Phoenix that I restored........I actually salvaged the factory color that someone sprayed back in the day........lucked out on this one, '58 Plymouth Belvedere (pre-finished) yeah, I cheated.........but I did correct a few things and add some foil (I have the real car 1:1), '60 Plymouth Sport Suburban wagon that I did years ago, still holding up well, '63 Chrysler 300 that I recently completed, it was a built but unpainted kit off the Bay that I did in an original teal metallic color. Re-issue '56 DeSoto Fireflite sedan promo, simply did the wide whites and detailed this one. Pre finished '57 300, re-issue '58 Caddy 4dr h/t that I bought new back in the '80's, '59 Rambler wagon re-issue that I bought an interior for and detailed, re-issue '56 Olds 4 dr h/t promo detailed, (I wish someone would re-issue these old Johans again!), and an original '61 Rambler wagon promo thats been detailed.
  15. Wow, I did'nt know. Why can't we all get together and raise some dough for the software? I'd be in for a donation. We need a good place to buy and sell............I use ebay as both a buyer and a seller, but it does get out of hand with the prices. I don't think any of us are millionaires, or have a ton of money to spend on the hobby.
  16. Picked this old Johan up at a local swap meet for $10.00 Was in worn and scratched factory green with one A pillar missing a chunk. I sanded, cleaned, grafted a new A pillar in, sprayed in a close to factory Lareado Tan metallic with white roof, a little detailing and it's looking better. Still need to get it a new hood ornament. Not quite as nice as I wanted it to be, but not too bad considering the shape it was in plus the fact that it was only 10 bucks. Would have done it back in the green, but I already had the tan.
  17. Anybody know what's going on with the emodelcars.com site? Never been there before, but I noticed that the swap section of the board recommends it for selling/buying. Been trying all day and it says that the site is in maintenance mode. Just wondering.
