  10. cool project John! glad to hear you are detailing it! are you going old school like the box, or more modern like the pic??
  11. thanks for the interest guys, really do appreciate it, seems to be at least one person out there that's not much of a fan, not sure what to make of it. I have a small update for those who are interested, I made a close out panel to duct the air through the radiator, for such a small update it sure was a pain to make, round in the front, square in the back, it put up a fight for a couple of hours tweaking it to fit, still not 100% sure if it will make final assy. but I do think it makes a more finished look. thanks for checkin in
  12. WOW, not sure what to think about that, you signed up to leave one post on this whole forum, and its this? wow! care to explain??
  13. if I'm not mistaken, I think Randy dabbles just a tiny bit in model railroading, lol, huh Randy?
  14. awesome start Michael, I wish they would re-issue this kit, my high school ride was a 72, ooOH the good ol' days, had LOTS of fun in that car! ready to see more on this build. very clean work.
  15. Hi Mark, you have really made some ground on this build, it looks like you are in the home stretch, most impressive as usual !! hope to see it in person some day, Bill
  16. Hi Randy, so good to see some progress on this, I cant say enough about your metal work, just stunning!! you are going to mess around and get this beautiful thing done if you aren't careful!! lol all ways a treat my friend, Bill
  17. well I have managed to get a little bench time in finally and made a little progress, Ken I appreciate the feed back, not everything 100% accurate I will be the first to admit, this build is tough enough for me with out trying to replicate every tiny detail, and you are correct, the spindles aren't spindles, I am just using bolts in their place, I figured that would be the easiest thing to do sense to cant see the spindles when its together anyway, thanks again for your compliment. Derk, my man, thanks for checking in on it, all ways appreciate it!! I finally made the inter-coolers and placed them in about the only place I could get them to fit, I originally wanted to put them in front of the radiator, but I just couldn't squeeze them in, still need to finish plumbing them from the turbos and intake, I tried to replicate the tubes and cooling fins, and you can see through them, I think they will work. took a little break from the mechanical stuff and turned some headlights on the lathe, they have clear bulbs in them as well with flat clear lenses for a more modern look, the high beam light holes lined up so well with the inter-coolers I figured they need to be air inlets, made a couple of air ducts for them. thanks for looking, hopefully I can make some steady progress for while.
  18. dude, seriously?? incredible! rock on bro!!
  19. glad to see see some one making some progress Dirk, I can't seem to make any! The Ghia is really shaping up, every thing is looking perfect! do we have a color picked out for this badboy??? all ways a treat my friend!
