    Resin Baja Bug

I remember this was based off of a kysho mini z body. But that is probably about as hard to find:(
  2. That's what I mean. Tomy is selling all of the ertl john deere diecasts. But who owns the plastic now🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. I've been wondering who owns the tooling for those old 1/25 farm kits. I didn't plan on, but wound up visiting the Tomy shop and toy tractor museum in Dyersville, and never thought to enquire about them.
  4. They build up like armor kits. Ie- just slightly different than our car builds. they have very nice detail. Worth the price. Not sure if anyone on here has built the Admiral, but their model Ts build up pretty much with the same detail if you search those also.
  5. It has an engine. It's garbage like the rest of the kit.
  6. Not suprised about it lol. I had carefully sanded it off the last release without issue. Jeep kits always work for me. I've liked this since it was the diecast.
  7. The rear still has the diamond plate from the tomb raider version. It's weird getting a stock(ish) version of a kit for its 4th(ish) release. The decal artist needs a spell checker. ??‍♂️
  8. There is a 1/24 diecast isuzu elf that pops up on ebay once and a while, by some brand chinese company.
  9. Assuming they're the same as the older ones that only fit those specific wheels, yea...why the _ even? ??‍♂️ Even if they had the wheels, what good are they without the rockwell axles lol.
  10. Those "some people" used to work at Revell so....? And yes. Bad wheel design on top of a bad choice of vehicle. Some bigger than stock dimension wheels work. These, do not. The licensed tires are nice to have back.
  11. Received some of these today, from Greg. Excellent quality. Good idea on the black resin. One suggestion, if you could fill in the fins around the outside of the wheel, inside the tires. These wheels fit the amt parts hollow redline tires. But any other solid tires, these would need trimming for. Im worried about cracking the wheel when I plan to trim them. Again, great casting! Look perfect!
  12. The GL was based on the 2nd gen Brat. So the AMT kit would be completely useless for the movie car.
  13. The Cuda isn't out yet. The gasser and Cars, lightning mcqueen are out tho.
  14. The MPC Broncos have a nice 4x4 setup. I think someone was casting them, but as stated before, probably off the market for a while.
  15. I'd guess that it would cost more to ship the cartograph decals from Italy, to china, or wherever they decide to box the usa kits, so we just get the chinese junk decals. At this point, when revell overall is shipping the same kits in the awful GmbH boxes, with the great decals, and the usa boxes with the awful decals, AT THE SAME TIME, why not just sell the GmbH kits in one size box, with good decals??‍♂️??‍♂️. Even the new owners know how to play the old game.
  16. Its a curbside, with a lot of chassis detail, but molded in.
  17. Olson brothers resin guys were planning to work on some, last time we emailed.
  18. Ed wasn't giving out anything specific. Only to be reassured the model a kits are still coming back again. This was neat. Not the same toys from before. Ed said its around 1/22ish scale for all that cartoons matter.
  19. You're right. But thats what you get with poorly molded diecasts, huge gaps.
  20. There was a newer model year Express/Savannah van from highway 61. But this one would work also, as you're going to have to scratchbuild the hood. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F283365657628 But spencer is right. You could probably use the transformer toy, and rework that into something more detailed.
