  1. Was just looking through this old thread and was wondering if the prudhomme car and the mcewen car were ever finished?
  2. Have you made any progress on this car?
  3. Amazing Charlie. Thank you for posting some pics.
  4. Question for you Casey. The pledge revive it you used after you applied the decals do you always just brush that on? And do you do anything else after the pledge dries? Your build looks great! Thank you
  5. Hi Charlie Have you ever made any more progress on this magnificent build? I have the kit in my stash and seeing yours is wanting me to get mine started.
  6. This would be on of my holy grail kits. The california charger rear engine dragster. All of their cars were gorgeous. I know I can get another revell dragster kit and buy the correct parts and decals to build the car but the box art is pretty sweet and nostalgic.
  7. Thank you for the tip about the decals. I built kansas john wiebe's dragster from the 1971 nhra supernationals at ontario using the young american dragster and it being the same kit as this one, I had to shave some of the main body off for it to mate with the back section. Your tires look so real. How did you get them to look like that?
  8. I'm building the same car currently. Your build is very nice and clean. Awesome job.
  9. First time wiring up an engine. Definitely learned a lot from doing the first one to apply to the second. I know there not perfect but they will get better with practice.
  10. Your build is amazing. I definitely need to get this kit after seeing your build.
  11. Wow! Your build is impressive. Very clean. Great job.
  12. Thanks for the info! Was just wondering if it came with an olds or a hemi etc.
  13. Was curious as to what engine comes with this kit? Thinking about getting this kit. Thank you.
  14. Love this thread! Started on the Tommy Ivo showboat dragster that I started when I was maybe 10 or 11 years old back in 95 or 96. Took apart the engines that I had terribly put together and reassembled them. They are ready for paint now. While those were drying, I started assembling the engine for the Pisano & matsubara monza funnycar and the engine for the Don Prudhomme wedge dragster.
  15. Your build is phenomenal!!! The paint is perfect. Great build. I definitely need to get this kit.
  16. Stumbled across this post and love it. Noticed no one has posted for awhile and wanted to keep it going . My bench is too clean cause I never have time to get to it. Really hoping I can get back at it later tonight.
  17. Awesome build!!! Love this car. Nice work!
