  1. OK I looked at the rim closer...definitly a Viper! But I'll be patient and see what you got, no matter what it is, its gonna be show room quality!
  2. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say Dodge Charger for your next build?? The turnbine car looks spectacular!!!
  3. I'd say its orange peel, I started sanding it down, I hope that works for it, I wanted it done for a car show and well, that won't happen! But I may just dunk it in Super Clean and start it over, I've put quite a bit of time in this and need the clean finish. I'm gonna try to reshoot it after I get it wet sanded smooth.
  4. Heres the body before its wet sanded, I hope to get to that by Tuesday, I'm not so sure what went wrong, or if its just the Lindberg plastic but the body seems a bit "pitty" the feel is rather smooth but it needs a hell of a sanding. You can see the pitty effect in the fender glare. Then heres the finished interior, the seats and floor are flocked.
  5. Just freakin impressive!!! I have enough problems getting a gloos finish and here your making things look oh so very realistic....Great Job!!
  6. I applogize for the misunderstanding. I'm a fan of most motor sports, I watch NASCAR the most though. And living in Wisconsin any local races I go to are all late model. Otherwise I love most motorsports, except crotch rockets racing and the touring ###### and anything similiar to those! I used to think Micheal Waltrip was ok and in the 90s had a thing for Jarrett, but with Jarrett having 1 provisional left, I don't think he'll race again and Waltrip keeps screwing up he may end up in a booth before to long.
  7. Why wouldn't it matter to me thats all they race in the midwest is late model, and if you knew anything about drag racing, you'd know all funny cars run hemi motors. And just like in NASCAR, Toyota won't do worth a ###### in NHRA. And if anyone thinks Toyota is doing anything good in NASCAR, your a little naive. Just think after Jarrett uses his last provisional, he may never race again.
  8. Are you replicating anyone in general? Have any updates of it?
  9. Due to lack of funds I missed the Milwaukee show  I know theres more thorugh out the year, does anyone know when they are :?:
  10. see if you can find a custom paint mixer that can be put into a rattle can, theres a guy here in Madison, WI. if I get a chance I'll swing by him and see if he has an online store or at least get you his contact info.
  11. Sorry my update is a week late... Primer still needs to be wet sanded, hopefully by Tuesday. The glass work has 3 coats of Future floor wax. Started running the brake lines, still have quite a bit of work to go. the red and black are the battery cables, the silver is the fuel line, the copper in the back is the one of the first brake lines. Its all a work in progress!! This is my first model I have tried to run brake cables, fuel lines, future wax and used flocking on, I'm learning alot as I go, any tips would be great, thanks!!
  12. Well, I appreciate the explination to the 17 inchers, in my opinion its getting sickening on how people are putting these huge rims and low pro tires on everything! I can understand filling out the wells better, by using them as well as a normal tire on them.
  13. Jarius you are the man, now maybe "some" people can spell without thinking how to type with a southern drawl!!!
  14. The 455 idea, good idea, but please what ever you do, stay away from the 17" wheels! Go stock on the wheels, this isn't a ghetto car! Looking good so far, keep us updated.
  15. I did find use for that sandy primer, I sprayed the bed with it and I'll spray my final color over it, and it should have the look and feel of a bed liner. I plan to spray the frame as well the same way to have the underliner coating effect. So I think I may have found a use for this mistake! Luckily I got it off the parts I didn't want it on, it came off really easy.
