  1. Great looking rig. Glad to see someone FINALLY thought of adding the fender flares!
  2. Great job! Builds like this make me want to throw my stuff back in the closet, padlock the door and swallow the key!
  3. I don't follow the Mack construction trucks, but looks like a DMM with a lime bed.
  4. Here is mine. It shares an office with the sign shop cutter. Clean at the moment. It's fun to see where other people work on their hobbies.

Cool car! I had the pleasure of doing the body work & repainting on a real one late 80's. White w/red stripe down the middle. Local customer, don't know what ever happened to it.
  6. LOL! Let's just go back to the plain black cardboard so the truck will get noticed! Larry
  7. Tim, thanks for the information. Back then, I could not afford a Peterbuilt, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to them. I painted a 76 model 352 with a wraparound mural w/ the incredibel hulk theme. I'm in the process of locating some of my old sign jobs I lost pictures of. The owner says he still has pics of it, and of a 359 I painted for him.
  8. Tim, what year would the kit most likely represent so I can google it? and when is the release date, if known. Larry
  9. Hey Jim your right! State highway dash lines should be yellow. We have some county roads that are still white. And all this time I've been thinking that I know every thing! Ruined my day.LOL
  10. Jim, in Arkansas our dash lines are white, the no passing line is yellow and the shoulder lines are white. The diaroma is 4'x8'. I'll never finish it, just something to think about.
  11. Jim, here's a couple of pics of the base. Just a piece of poster board and about 30 minutes work. Also something else in the works, a trucking company diaroma, if I live that long!
  12. Thanks guys, by the way Tim, I stole the pavement idea from you. I'm sorry! Jim, if you need ideas for the base, go to Tim's old site on his web page. I spent about 2 hrs the other nite looking at his work. As most of us already know, this guy is truly amazing!
  13. This started life as a snap kit, scratch built sleeper, extended frame. Colors are PPG Ford arizona biege & Lamborgini violet pearl left over from my body shop days. Hub caps are nickel plated furniture nails from Lowe's. Add air & elect. lines on back of sleeper and call it finished! Back to work on something else.
  14. Need reference material for your next build? Check out thetruckterminal.com. For sale site with front, side & rear views of most trucks.
  15. Good looking build. Would like to see it from the other end now.
  16. Chip's daytona at bristol today, no chutes, thru the sand trap & hard into the catch fence!
  17. Rear steps are removed from fenders. I may be getting old, but I can still see! These pics used the same pair of fenders for both shots. day cab will still have the step on rear of fenders. Haven't decided on color for day cab yet.
  18. Patrick, I was going to ask where you were at. Bad deal over there yesterday, friend of mine in the 18 wheeler.
