  1. The Beaumonts are the only ones I've seen, (Canadian version of a Chevelle/Malibu). Chrysler exported 2 1971 Hemicuda convertibles up there, metric gauges and all, making for a grand total of nine of them ever built. But they were built here.
  2. Looking foward to these. Corey
  3. That'd be the best news in the modeling community, LOL.
  4. Looks like you're set for a long time to come Donn. You'll be making beauties for a very long time for sure. Corey
  5. No, hadn't even thought about it actually. I've built replicas of a couple cars that belong to native Kansans though, LOL, but that's about it.
  6. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This one is gonna be a monster! Count me in! Corey
  7. Thanks guys. FB340, I figured you'd like this one. The new one ought to be alot cooler. I'll keep ya posted. Corey
  8. Lookin good man. Keep up the good work. Corey
  9. Thanks Wayne. I'm not a big fan of them either, but that's how my buddy wanted it man. For some reason, I don't know why; he's a Cowboys fan. LOL. I want to get another and build it as a slammed pro streeter in purple with white stripes/interior. Corey
  10. Well guys, I think I'm actually gonna leave this one alone. I have another one that I'm gonna build instead of tearing this one down. I'll throw all the bells and whistles into it, and use this one to compare to the new one. It'll be equally cool, with my skillset where it's at now, the new one should actually be quite a bit better. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks. Corey
  11. Thanks Paul. This has always been my all time favorite year Charger. My Dad had a 71 Superbee 383 Mag/4 spd w/ console and tape recorder, Air Grabber hood. Was a really cool car, wish it was still around. Corey
  12. LOL, no not even a little bit. This one was a build a friend wanted me to do for him. He is like the biggest Cowboys fan I've ever met. He wanted me to put the numbers of his 2 favorite players on it. I really don't get into football much anymore. I rarely watch tv, spend most of my time just making ends meet working, or doing side work after I get off of my regular job. Between that and the family, (4 kids and wife) I stay pretty busy. I do find time to build models, and play guitar, but I really don't watch much tv. Corey
  13. Here are the final shots of the Charger I just built before I send it off to it's new home. Thanks for looking Corey
  14. This model is like 16-17 years old, and has been hidden away on a shelf at my grandparent's house in the basement. It's gonna be one of my wips in the near future. Corey
  15. Mine is at 15 right now. 71 Hemicuda convert. 71 GTX 71 Charger R/T Fireball 500 Cuda Digger Cuda 09 Challenger 70 Challenger 69 Barracuda x2 67 GTO Ferrari Enzo Chevy Cameo Monkees mobile 69 Daytona Mr. Norm's 68 Dart A long list, but not too long to complete. Alot of looking for just the right parts to build them the way I want. Corey
  16. Myself, I pretty much build for the love of bulding. I used to build all my stuff, with my Dad's standards in mind. And then one day he said, Why are you worried about whether or not I like it? It's your model, build it how you would want it if you had the real car. Once that was said, I started to realize that the biggest critic I have to please is myself. You're not gonna see my builds from your living room, so I guess when it comes down to it, my opinion is what matters, and that of my family since they have to look at em everyday also. I've only ever entered two contests. I've won top honors at both of them. The first one I entered was in 1994, and the model was finished a whole two years before the contest ever took place. So in no way was it built to please the judges. The only other contest I've ever entered was this year's GearZ/Revell contest which my build was done specifically for. But I still built it the way I would've done for myself if it wasn't being entered into competition. The one criteria I tried to stick to on this build was using 50% of the kits original parts. If I didn't have that guideline to go from, it would've gotten the full aluminum paneled interior, and bigger roll cage. That's the only thing that held me down as far as the way I built it. So if I wouldn't have had those guidelines to follow, it would have been totally based on mine, and mine own opinion of what should and shouldn't have been. So, I can see both sides of the story. Corey
  17. Didn't really think about Pro Stars, I still have the rears from my Glidden kit I built in 1990. Also thought of dog dish wide steelies. My Dad had em on his 71 Superbee, and they looked killer. So many choices. That's been one of my biggest issues since I started is finding the right look as far as wheels go. When I lower it , I'm just gonna lower the front some. The top of the wheel tubs are already touching the trunklid, so I can't go much lower in the rear. Thanks for the input everybody. Will keep you posted. Corey
  18. Thanks Mike. Appreciate all the great comments and critiques from everybody. Corey
  19. Awesome job on the SWC Willys. The Mopar in the bg looks like it's pretty awesome also. Corey
