Scale I Build

  1. I squeezed in one more quick completion this year. Low parts count, body split in half, one piece wheels/tires. Out of the box, all I added were acetate windows and headlight lenses. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
  2. This thread was inspired by another thread: Aurora made more than one show rod model kit but used kit names that didn't require licensing (I'm guessing here). One of the first that I spotted being the Car Craft cover version of the Li'l Coffin which (as far as I can tell) came out as "32 Skid-Doo"...as mentioned in the Li'l Coffin thread. The next Aurora show rod I spotted was the Silver Sapphire or, otherwise known as the Little Deuce Coupe from the Beach Boys song...which Aurora sold as the Ram Rod I am wondering if anyone here has ideas or info on what cars or show rods Aurora use as inspiration for the following kits: Old Ironsides Meat Wagon Hot Surfer 39 La Salle Hearse Beatnik Box Snap Dragon "T" For Two (I think I spotted this one but forgot where) Sad Sack Wolf Wagon Road Raider Moody Monster Woodin Wagon Scat Cat The Charger Shiftin Drifter Hi Stepper The Spyder
  3. Hi The engine mount of the airplane is shown here. Some improvements have been made to make the model more detailed. The carrier and the transport carriage have been scratched. Some pieces of the box model have been replaced and they have been made to scratch using aluminum to make the motor more real. https://youtu.be/qH4NLRAHfk4 a greeting
  4. Hello partners Model F / A-18C Hornet, scale model 1/32 scale Academy. The model is on a surface that simulates the deck of an aircraft carrier. https://youtu.be/oG7yjxOB9Xc A greeting and I hope you like it
  5. Hey Guys, I see in the forums list, a section for BIG BOYZ, but nothing for the smaller scales. Now I know there be at least one reply posted (and many more thinking about it) of how hard it is to see small stuff as we are aging (and it is a pain!), but I have an interest to build some stuff in smaller scales, but have a problem that plaques it. No real good engines. The only true decent ones are the Monogram Ultimates, one being the 1/43rd engines of the Chevy 427, and the Ford 289. But for a couple of 1/32nd engines that are marginal, there are no really good engines available. Well, I have spent time looking on Shapeways, and even there, I found nothing for auto engines in small scale but for some aircraft engines. So I have talked to a vendor about interest in making some, so if you too would be interested, please let me know. Thanks,Kevin
  6. I Started a Smaller Project in between my other, as the Title says it will be a Custom Hornby 1:32 Ford Focus WRC. I already painted the 1st Coat of paint on the outer Body, my choice Grabber Green. Picture didn't come out as good as I wanted it to, so will post a better one tomorrow with the 2nd Coat. Hope you all will enjoy!
