.......Just thought I would ask our always informed member's if someone could school me on the general detail's and content's of a 1995 issue of the AMT 56 FORD, that was apparently sold in a plain white shipping box in the 1995-96 era I'm told......wondered if all the custom and race part's were there, slick's, decal's, etc....thanks in advance......the Ace... -
Here is a quick build I just did for fun. I had this 56 ford gasser body for decades, then rusted it up and sat it beside the garage in this diorama. I found a 56 on ebay missing its body and used the chassis and interior plus some parts box wheels and front axle to make a complete car. It represents an abandoned and rusting gasser found in a field. The guys at the garage are planning to restore it over the winter! Fun project! -
Heres the start, Hacked up a lightning bed and put the sides on the original bed from the 56 ford, then glued the fenders onto the bed. Hoping to make a cummins for it. Mirrors and cab lights from revell peterbilt 359, wheels and tires from ford l8000, hoping for stacks too, and hopefully 4x4. Heres my inspiration a drawing from this past summer and the real deal, followed my my progress.
