HI folks... does anyone know of alternatives to Micro Mark resin casting items? They are a bit pricey and was wondering if there are any other suppliers of smaller quantities out there. I used Micro Mark's stuff a long time ago with mixed results... JD

Hi. Has anyone any experience with Smooth Cast 300? Looks pretty easy to use from they`re youtube video. My question would be what would be ideal to use for mold? Got my hands on some uptops and thought i give it a shot on cast some examples. If a success,i might try cast 61-64 GM full size station wagon roofs.

I decided the time has come for me to build yet another 1/12 scale Super Seven, (it has been almost six years since I finished my last one), the only “problem” is I don’t have any more kits of them. If I counted correctly, this will be my 7th 1/12 scale Seven. So instead of shopping for one, I grabbed a sheet of brass and started cutting, beating and bending. I am not sure why I started with the hood first, it just seemed like a good idea.
