Scale I Build

  1. resin 37 willys coupe from starmodel, put on a 40 willys interior, chassie and engine kit
  2. didnt feel it last part of last year, finally finished this one for 2019. got some resins on the bench, slow to finish. thanx for looking
  3. 53 studebaker double wammy, with 06 magnum wagon sliced on. thanx, enjoy
  4. 59 mercury screw bottom convertible, already had one, so added a roof to the second one. i actually really liked it, but i do like the roof line of the donor car. enjoy did the swap year ago and set it to side like we do.
  5. 53 studebaker double wammy kit with magnum wagon rear portion, thanx for lookin
  6. used the 32 ford speedwagon kit, 34 ford sedan fenders, and 33 willys front. body was cut down middle to narrow it, and removed the bulge on its sides. nice to be back at it. hope yas enjoy
  7. 57 chrysler kit with 66 chevelle wagon rear portions, custom tail and front treatments. thanx for lookin
  8. for those that followed, thank you much, those that didnt catch the cuttin, there in here somewere, maybe even under big boyz (slice n dice) back some months. i had fun, hope you all try cutting um up too, its a blast, and it can make you smile when, if it works. they were built from the old black deuce kits and a few parts from the new version also. thanx, enjoy
  9. 33 ford coupe, with back of 40 pickup cab and bed, thanx built back in 1986
  10. some builds through the years, some conversions from my early teens in the early 70's through recent. hope you see some ideas for your collecting creativity. thanx for lookin
  11. 50 stud resin convertiable body, 97 corvette int, chassie and engine
  12. 33 ford coupe, with back of 40 pickup cab and bed, thanx built back in 1986
  13. picked up a bag kit of the 37 chevy cabriolet, grafted the 37 ford sedan rear and parts of its interior. thanx
  14. i dont know about everybody else, but this kit has always been a ugly duckling to me. the headlights are just to low, the cabs a bit small also, but those headlights. heres a trick i tried to improve. i cut on each side of each, then under, had to cut a relief cut just behind headlight face to bend it down slightly, then a small piece of plastic under. i use super glue as filler. i like it better. dont know how ill build it yet. the chassie in this kit is fun to use. thanx for lookin terraplane truck, another idea i had started while back, got the nose off ebay
  15. quick conversion, fiat body fits almost purfect on a 34 ford small revell fender and chassie assembly. worked its interior in to it also
  16. this build was the 36 ford coupe fenders and front an lower body, with the rear and roof from the vantastic which had to be made longer to fit. this build was almost done but didnt paint the headlight buckets and hood. it got put back in box for another day when i decided on another color combination and finished it. oh ya the part of the vantastic was combined with a chopped 40 ford pickup for a 38 ford custom pickup
  17. so i just got back from grand national car show ( a Maze ing) lets see now, i combined a 58 edsel kit and a chopped 57 ford rancharo, hardest part was making the tail lights, then few years later i got a edsel wagon and it had them, but that was too late. also a 59 retractable and a 57 ford, (still a project). and the 57 chevy nomad rat i found a pick of, i guess then it came out in a resin. i used part of a modified chassie kit under it. (still a project).
