Scale I Build

  1. A while back I had pick up some of the Revell 2009 Dodge Challengers and when I went to Ollies some time ago my son and I picked up some Revell Dodge Ram VTS Pickups. I built one of the Rams and my son had started on the other. All he finished was the engine and put it away to do a WW2 tank model. This evening he pulled the model out and was looking at it. He then pulled one of the Challengers out and started "playing" around with them. He then placed the Challenger on my desk with the V10 in it. I took a look at it and if I modify the intake and oil pan it might fit right into the engine bay. What do you guys think? Should I take his idea further? This might just give a Hellcat or Demon a run for their money
  2. My favorite Mopar of all!
  3. This is my new project, a rig rod with big cubic inch... inspired by this 820 c.i. ford hemi sedan,I will try to build the same intake from brass and chrome plate it. On top of it will be 8 injection funnels The starting point... the parts collection...
  4. First one done for this year. This went a little better then the Cuda even if i made many mistakes and arent too happy about it. What is done is i bashed a AMT Viper coupe for suspension, engine, transmission, brake booster and engine managment. The rear back up lights was made out of clear parts three, inspired by two other builders on this forum. The plenum and intake is from Revell (Thank you evilbay lol). The steelies are from a member on here, dont remember hes name but has ebay store. The dog dish are from Missing Link and are great. Paint is tamiya, dip stick is home made, alternator wire is just wire lol. Heater hoses are wire isolation, radiator hose is scale production, the hose clamps are Top Studio. Exhaust is modified Cuda AAR. I regret having some blackwash on the engine, because now it looks dirty. Also the rear window is a joke. Anyway, thanks all for the tip and suggestions in the WIP. Here are some pics. Thanks for watching, and if you like it or hate it,let me know.
  5. So i started one more kit (dont ask why lol) and some ideas popped in as i went along. I`m pretty sure it`s been done before, but it is a first time for me trying to scratch build things as frames and modify the body. The donor is the Dodge Viper GTS from AMT. Only thing left of the original frame is the mid section. I also modified the firewall to get engine enough backwards so it went clear of steering components. This again gives a lot of room in front of the engine and in real life, nice weight distribution. Well, here are some progress. Comments are welcome.
