Can't think of a better way to spend a holiday than finishing a model. This looked like a easy challenge to finish quickly. That...is pretty much your first mistake when approaching any kit. Getting the upper body to stay down on the fenders was the biggest hurdle. Some super glue, regular liquid glue, some creative claming and over night setting solved the problem. The over all fit and finish of this kit was marginal at best. I understand from a frined that this is a re-issue of an earlier mold and they add some things to things one. Despite the problems it did go together in a fairly short amount of time. It was painted at an earlier date and that helped. Color is Tamiya TS67 Racing white. There are captions under the pictures for extra info. Thanks for looking. Lots of tricky bare metal foil work. Chrome and aluminium were used. Didn't have to make the wheels steer this time....thank the maker !! Those tiny lights were a real bugger to get right. Windshield was no piece of cake either. The tonneau cover was an addition to this kit I am told, Not much in the way of engine except for detail painting. Seats were sprayed a Tamiya flat brown and waxed to simulate leather. Dash decal was the nicest part of this kit.
