1974 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
Jeffcad posted a topic in Model CarsHi again ! JoHan has never made the convertible version of the 1974 Cadillac Eldorado promo, only the Eldorado Coupe. So, after finding a damaged one for sale a few months ago I thought about giving that poor promo a new life, as a convertible. I have tried to push some details that Johan never did, as to carve on the model the front and rear choc absorber lines on the fenders, and to give the interior some life, with detailed front seats and door panels. The Caddy received a new paint and some new white walls. Don't know how to photo-etch or create decals for scripts and emblems yet but I'll come to that soon. Hope you'll like it !
74 Road Runner
Hard_2_Handle_454 posted a topic in Model CarsHere is my second build of the year a 1974 Road Runner. The wing is from the 71 Cuda kit. Had a slight problem with one of the stripes being broken when I got the kit, but the painted stripe is barely noticable. Going to combine these two to make a 1974 T-Top Corvette.
With the MPC Reissues , I Wonder If ...
1972coronet posted a topic in Car Kit News & ReviewsOwing to the fact that Round2 is on a good run with the MPC reissues , I wonder if the 1973-1974 Charger Rallye is slated for reissue ? Correct me if I'm wrong , but didn't it make its last appearance in c.1983 in street machine livery ? Its stock tyres and wheels were in absentia , but it was otherwise "stock" ( never kind that horrible "limo tint" phase that MPC went through in the early-mid 80's ! ) . Any Idea Whose Beautiful Work This One Is ?
1974 Challenger front clip
jsc posted a topic in Model Building Questions and AnswersDoes anyone remember a '74 Challenger kit that came out, probably in the mid 70's with a front clip like the Superbird? I just found mine in the attic and am starting to restore it, but it's a mess. I'm looking for ideas? Instructions? Thanks John
