  1. Got the new AMT kit. It's not too bad. I just wish they'd get rid of the hippie sunflower decals and add decals for the dash, turn signals, DODGE EMBLEM. You, know, useful decals. At least they have headlight lenses and mirrors in this kit. It's pretty easy to build. No real issues. Went through three paint choices before settling on the red. Doesn't look bad. 2. Not a stock color, but the yellow paint didn't want to stick to the hood. Had trouble finding a stripe for the rear as well. Wanted a black stripe, but had to settle for the white. Went with the day two look. Hood. scoops, and tail lights are from Hart's Parts. The pics came out alright, but it's been storming here lately, so there wasn't much sun.
  3. I just came across the resin Dodge W11 (volcano) hubcaps while browsing ebay. 2 sets on a BIN listing. If you want them, act fast!
  4. Hello, I am new to the forum! That being said, I thought I would share my recent car project. My stepdad owns a 1968 dodge coronet 440 with a 318 cubic inch engine. So I decided to make a scale model of it. I shaved the R/T badges from the 1968 R/T body I found online. Used painted masking tape for the black vinyl top. I also had to modify the engine mounts for the smaller engine to fit with the roadrunner frame. I have added a picture of the actual car for comparison. 5. WIP of my entry for this years Cannonball (Aussieball) cbp. Hopefully this is in the right category it's a car but it'll be getting mild 4X4 treatment, if it belongs in the Truck section by all means move it. Anyway like I said it'll be getting mild 4X4 treatment along the lines of the Off road Charger from Furious 7. So the front fenders will be cut and widened a little and the rear fenders will be wide bodied out a little too. Color hasn't been decided on yet, likely flat with some amount of weathering, not going to be show quality in the least. First time cutting fenders completely off, glad it ended well. And I though I had gotten a couple of pics of the work on the rear fenders but I guess not. Will have a few pics of it with primer up later today. Thanks for looking!
  6. Hello. Anyone know what would be a good donor for a 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T? Mostly for chassis, interior and glass. How would the 68 AMT Road Runner be? Thanks Tommy
  7. This is the snap kit from Polar Lights. I wish i could say it was just to snap it together, but it`s far from the truth,if i`m not just really out of luck as for what fitment concern. Anyway,i put on some foil, not so easy with the sloppy original painted moldings. I changed the interior color from tan to red,and the engine color from blue to black. Did an attempt at giving the engine and surroundings little bit of detail as wires, heater hoses, coil wire, battery wire, and some decals. The hood is not put 100% in place, such an hazzle to get it off later on. I wanted to try blackwash on the grill in front of the windsheild, but the one i used on the grill i did not dare to try because it`s made of clear and black paint lol. Some pictures.
  8. I think I did a pretty good job on these considering the kits weren't much.
  9. Resin repop of the rare MPC '68 Coronet kit. All the build details and more pics are on my site at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/68_coronet_rt_page.html
