Scale I Build

Found 4 results

  1. Built for the The '21 Cannonball Ruse community build. WIP: Tamiya Subaru Impreza (not WRC but Cannonball Ruse) with Hobby Design engine I always wanted to build this Tamiya Subaru Impreza as a private citizen road car, got the Hobby Design EJ20 engine kit a long time ago for this project. The Tamiya kit is typical awesome. The engine needed some modifications to fit. The Thule cargo box is from the Fujimi set that also has the bicycle, it was shortened and turned around, and has one rally light and a lens scavenged from a real camera. Interior has an Igloo cooler, a bunch of Monster drink cans, CB and scanner radio, camera screen, and sun visors. Built in a month, 125 hours. My intent was to not make a show car, but could be a cheap repaint of a retired rally car.
  2. Kit: Aoshima Lamborghini Aventador Transkit: Hobby Design Upgrade: Hobby Design Upgrade-set (deluxe with resin parts) Paint: Arencio Argos (Lamborghini) and gloss black by Zero Paints Clear: 2K Gloss Clear by Zero Paints Extra: Carbon Fibre decals by Ka Models; seat belt material from Hiroboy Please let me know what you think, Chris.
  3. An litle bit older build then the Lamborghini, but in my opinion worth it to show you guys. Kit: Fujimi Ferrari F12berlinettaUpgrade: Hobby Design Upgrade-set, Hobby Design Novice Wheels and Tires, Hobby Design Suspension and brakes kitPaint: Giallo Modena by Zero Paints Clear: 2K Gloss Clear by Zero Paints Extra: Carbon Fibre decals by Ka Models; seat belt material from Hiroboy Just let me hear what you think, Greetings, Chris.
  4. I bought a piece of photo-etched seat belts from Hobby Design, I was scared to start with these for months because I never used them before This afternoon I started and to my surprise nothing fits..... the belts are to wide to fit the clips and the clips are in two pieces and these also don't fit into each other because the holes are to tiny. My smallest drill is 0.5mm but that still way to big... I tried sanding the belts but its very difficult to hold them while busy. Suggestions, ideas and tips are very welcome because I still would like to use them
