  1. Hi all,,hope alls well for ya..just completed a Revell Glidden T-bird,,went together well,,. changed a few things,,added some basic wiring and spiced up the color scheme a bit. Revell did a great job on these era prostock kits IMO. Enjoy the builds here,,Build on!!
  2. I grew up in Rome, NY, the next town over from Utica, where Phil was from, and he was my boyhood idol. When he passed away at 69 a few years back, I decided it was time to honor him with a model of the car he won the 1971 NHRA AAFC championship in. The model uses a Revell body over a slightly stretched Johan chassis. It's the Revell engine with Bantam Blast rear wheels (stripped and sprayed with Alclad Brushed Aluminum), MPC hard plastic slicks from the 70s, and a fuel tank made from a gas can in the AMT Boss Nova. Paint is Duplicolor White with Testors Hot Pink, all of which was airbrushed. I designed the decals ,and Chuck Boerner printed them (he also did the "Custom Body" words on the decal.) It took almost 5 years start and stop to get this done, and I am proud to honor my boyhood idol with this build!
  3. My Ray Bartone Dart, fun build, wired up..hope u all like.
  4. My Ray Bartone Dart, fun build, wired up..hope u all like.
  5. This is the newly released Jukebox Ford kit. It is an excellent kit mold quality is very good..tires are awesome...decals are ok but challenging. I had to use 2 sets to get them dark enough since I used black as body color. Not sure of course how'd they do with other colors. Anyway here she is hope ya like her.
  6. Here is bob hamaltons Red Alert Chevelle, unlike the vintage Amt kit,I built this as correct as I could, the orig kit had single headlights like a 71,72, 73, the 70 had twin lights ea side, also, the orig kit has a blown engine with a hat. Lol, also kinda big deal, the orig kit has a 4 speed. And Bobs was automatic. H handle shifter, I made one. Also went to GM dealer and got the paint code for Cranberry red, it "75" by the way, the body shop mgt even mixed me some an gave me formula, pretty cool of him. So here ya go, my Red Alert, thanks for looking,
  7. not a super detail build or even historically accurate but I like it.
  8. Hi Guys I'm new here so thought I'd share one of my willys builds. I'm a Willys nut so built a few. Hope ya like it. CURRENT BUILD CUSTOM 71 PRO-STOCK FIREBIRD
