Scale I Build

Found 10 results

  1. this is the Bandai star wars the mandalorian razor crest snap kit I weathered it after I put it together and put the decals on I have a cover of the theme song for the Mandalorian playing in the background of the video
  2. I’m just about finished with my AT-AT diorama. The last part I’m having trouble with is finding a way to replicate the cable wrapped around the legs and trying to suspend the snow speeder with the tow cable alone. I’ve seen several guys use various guaged of wire which look too heavy to be scale looking . I raided my wife’s jewelry making supplies and found that a 22 gauge wire is strong enough to hold the vehicle suspended in the air without having to use a mounting stick attached to the base however it does not look scale and is a little too thick still . I tried to use CA coated upholstery thread and that doesn’t seem to work either. I have some really thin lengths of styrene rod but they don’t have the strength to hold up the vehicle either. Does anyone have any other ideas? I’m all ears.
  3. My version of the old Return of the Jedi model kit. I added quite a bit of greebling around the sides, added hoses here and there and shortened the cockpit a bit, as it looked too long to me. I also added some scars on the hull too. I tentatively say it's done, but I want to work on the engine more. Sadly, I frosted the cockpit glass as well. I weathered it with acrylics.
  4. Another kit done, these Bandai kits are just pure pleasure to assemble, never one fit issue, never a lack of detail. Light weathering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANMRuVaBMW8
  5. Build up and very mild washing/weathering of the kit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqr6xt6nV5c
  6. Just to prove I have not been sitting on my hands doing nothing all year...movie scene diorama from Star Wars. Luke has just stepped out of X Wing, R2 hasn't fallen into swamp yet
  7. Hello my Padawans, Knights and Masters! And, oh, just remember to paint BANDAI models ONLY with ACRYLIC paints!
  8. Hey! I picked up a side project for fun and to fill the time! It's a little 1/32 scale 1976 Star Wars R2 D2 van kit, missing many part's but i though it would go great with the Moonscope thing. This build was also Inspired by my good friends comic and children's costume play armor, Moonscope parts on this van with a tie fighter window! In a world of space exploration. it seems to fit well. Enjoy! Jonathan
  9. I'm still waiting for my income tax return, and waiting and waiting... So I picked up a side project for fun and to fill the time!
