Mark
Ugly, with a capital Ug. The platform probably won't allow for a very deep bed, so it'll wind up as the next generation SS-R.
62rebel
sure, GM needs to be bailed out every couple of years; this will trigger the next collapse.

Guest
YES! For once a new car design I really like.
Relic_Models
Basically Camero parts glued onto a Holden Maloo. Guess it doesn't look to bad but truck/car things have never really done well in the U.S.
Atmobil
The biggest problem with it is the far to shot looking rear end and bed and the front (with the coupe-bit) is far to big. Could possibly have worked if they stretched it a bit between the rearend of the doors (B-pillar) and the infront of the rearwheels.
Snake45
I like it, but it'll suffer the same fate as the SSR--lotsa interest, very few sales.

I was thinking the same thing, except I could even remember the name of it and one of my neighbors has one. Same issue with the Subaru Baja, as well. Harry P.
I like it, design-wise, but don't see the point business-wise. If they sold a few thousand they'd be lucky. Too little mass appeal to make it a viable option.
pharoah
I don't really care for it. It wouldn't be enough of a truck to haul anything more than some groceries. Maybe they could make a station wagon out of it. Oh,that's been tried, too.
Chuck Most
Why not? The SSR was such a raging success. Oh, wait...

Frank
If they want a ute, get an Aussie to design it.
cobraman
To me it looks ok but I don't believe it would be a good seller .
slantasaurus
Why not, the back seat in a Camaro is useless anyway.

Yup; another winner from the corporation that brought us the Pontiac "Aztec".....
oldnslow
I agree, looks cool but about as useful as an SSR, 2 seats and a big trash can in back.
Brizio
I like it! So yes it should be build.
Tom Geiger
I dunno... GM Australia already had a great Ute that they've sold in places like South Africa and the Arab world as... get this... the Chevrolet El Camino! It would be cool to see it here in the USA. Note that when the manufacturers bring out these models... everything from the Viper, Prowler, 2 seater T-Bird and SSR, they're looking to put an image out there, not especially looking to make money on that car. And all three of these have held their values as used cars. Edited April 1, 2015 by Tom Geiger
Snake45
And all three of these have held their values as used cars. Prolly because so few were sold as new cars.
Pim
ugly cars but I hope GM make this the platform fro the next commodore
chunkypeanutbutter
Come up with a decent regular-sized truck first. The recent trucks have bigger cabs than beds. I would like to see a Ranchero Mustang, however, when the El Camaro comes out.
