my80malibu
The thing that shouldn't be missed is those fool's, that shove advertising in your kids face, promoting call girls. While your walking down the strip. I used to go to Vegas a lot for work, honestly the best part was always leaving.
High octane
Gabe, why do you think that Vegas has been called "Sin City?"
Petetrucker07
It's the Adult playground. Not for easily offended that's for sure.
Rob Hall
IIRC in the early oughts, the LV marketing pundits tried rebranding it as a 'family-friendly' vacation destination...didn't really work. On the last trip I was there last year (for work) I liked what I saw of the changes that have taken place downtown --they've cleaned up a grubby area w/ lots of new restaurants, etc... High octane
I haven't been there since '09 and maybe I'll swing by there this fall or next spring according to my better half, who loves to plan vacations.
Agent G
Downtown is rockin' as of late. Fremont Street East has a lot of good shops and restaurants. Lots of good stuff happening on the strip as well. If you are easily offended, don't come here. The first amendment is alive and well. 80mirada
The Nuclear Test Site Musem was really cool, even though it isn't automotive. Their was a "old car" dealer near the air base that had a lot of cool stuff Edited May 2, 2015 by 80mirada
Greg Myers
OK, made it back in time for Mikes Swap meet at the Postal Club. Donnie and Marie were ok, sat right right down front by the stage. The Beatles Love , Cirque Du Soleil show at the Mirage was much better, (to be fair, Two different shows) Best part , visit to the Shelby Show Room / Museum / Factory. Although the docent ( former 40 year Ford employee) was rather long winded. Maybe just because of my long infatuation with Shelbys and Cobras.
