exesivefire
making more progress on the box tonight.. I almost hate to cover this.. Might have to think on that one a bit.. then I had an idea... I started that S-10 years and years ago.. before I even knew any better and the chassis is not my best effort, however.... I could fix that, the "u-hauler" would make a good tow rig for a under construction mini truck project...
62pyro
What? No basketball game tonight? Progress looks good.I like the idea of the S-10 on a trailer.
kilrathy10
That is a smokin' idea with the tube through the axle....I can use that for some of my big rig stuff....Thanks for the tip....

misterNNL
Rounding the corners of the cargo box helps soften the overall look of the whole project.Maybe this should have an ad on the sides for the "underhaulin"tv show.

exesivefire
It's really not much to see.. I started it before I really knew how stuff works (probably at least 12-15 years ago) the chassis is a little rough.

exesivefire
I started to sort out that engine bay, anyone that knows these AMT kits know they started life as a promo and the engine bay leaves a bit to be desired. not to mention the build this was before, I had hacked the heck out of it.. Since it had to be changed anyway, might as well smooth it out too.

exesivefire
Time to change gears and get a power-plant for this thing. I am robbing the LS based engine and transmission from the Revell SSR kit. That could have been cool as is, but.... Well I will let the pictures do the talking. Roots style blower seems a lot more fun, I am really happy with how it came out. fantacmet
On Page 3 was scratchbuilders stuff, so here this might help. https://www.dropbox.com/s/utsifpe38klg537/Scale%20Calculator%2001beta.zip?dl=0 It's a scale calculator for Windows. I created it, and it appears to work fine. If anyone notices anything with it let me know. I don't plan to ever charge for it, it's 100% free.
