AzTom
Spending time while paint is curing on the big IH truck I got in a few projects that have been on the bucket list for a long time. This in on of them. An Ertl 1/43 scale diecast 1950 Chevy cab over. The ramp bed is from Dakotah Toys. Took the cab marker lights off and cleaned up some of the mold marks. A test fit Paint stripped Chassis and fenders in gloss black. The interior painted and detailed. Thanks for looking, comments welcome. GrumpyGrowly
Neet project. Is the ramp bed metal?
AzTom
No, it's plastic and looks to be vacuum formed. To stiffen it up and give it a good pad to rest on the fifth wheel, I poured about a 1/4" of resin on into the bottom of it. Thanks
Nick W.
Reminds me of the Counts Customs ramp truck!

AzTom
I finished this one up except for tail lights. I know I have some packed away here somewhere. I added some mirrors from a 64 Impala, small for a truck but as an older custom truck they should do. Also bare metal foiled the bumper and black washed the grill. I plan on painting one of these 1/43 Willys to match the 1/18 I did. Thanks for looking.

AzTom
Thanks guys. I have three more of these beds so I may do a weathered one to haul a dozer to the job sites. I also have a Jimmy Flintstone 50's van body made for these Chevy COE trucks.
