Impalow
Thank You guys!! Finally got some primer sprayed and and the base coat of metal flake on the block and oil pan. This large flake silver is what im going to use for the interior to simulate the metal flake vinyl.

Impalow
Thanks everyone! I spent a couple hours tonight trying to tame the alclad dragon... This is my second time using it, and it's an improvement.. So I'm happy. I used the duplicolor gloss black enamel followed up with the duplicolor gloss crystal clear.. Both straight from the rattle can... Header in black: Header in alclad chrome! And some other parts cause I'm pretty proud of this one: Edited June 6, 2015 by Impalow

Impalow
Thank you all! Sadly i never got back to working on this over the weekend, but hopefully tonight i can get some good bench time in. Very nice Alcad work, what was your pressure at? Thank You for sharing later Russ Russ it was somewhere in the recommended range.... 10-12psi... I am using an old badger compressor with one of those cheap regulator/watertraps on it so its approximate. The airbrush is one of those $14.00 dual action gravity feed cheapos off ebay, im really suprised how well it works. Just barely cracked it back and built it up slowly. Impalow
Finally some progress!! Got most of the interior roughed out.. Still aways to go, but all the big parts have been made. Made the roll bar: Then applied the evergreen tile texture to the seats: Then created the rear seat cover and accent: From there it was door panels and the dash.. bobthehobbyguy
Nice work on the interior. What is the number for the evergreen you used for the interior?
Impalow
Thanks guys! im pretty happy with it... still needs a lot of cleaning up.. but you can start to see the vision. Nice work on the interior. What is the number for the evergreen you used for the interior? I used the 1/12" sheet for this... I understand why this is .040 thick but i wish it wasnt, I am going to border the edges with some piping so that will hopefuly visually minimize that thickness some.
