forthlin
This is my next victim. I'm going to paint it 50's aqua & white. Take notice of the interior tub rear shelf. That Isn't broke It was molded that way. I'm sending Round 2 a parts replacement form & hoping for the best as old as the kit is. The instrument panel decals I got from best model parts on ebay. They're priced right, well made & look a whole lot better than paint. Edited May 29, 2015 by forthlin
Bob Ellis
I had a 1969 AMT Riviera that the frame was molded with voids. It happens. The question is where was quality control?
StevenGuthmiller
I have an AMT '69 GTX convertible with half of the top boot missing. I would really like to do another one of these '56s some day. Steve
Foxer
Are we going to see that massive roof chrome? ... what I like most about the '56 Vickie

MeatMan
Hey Mike, I've got that kit in the original box and I plan to pro-street it so I won't be needing the interior that came with it. PM me with shipping info if you don't get satisfaction from R-2 and I'll send it.
forthlin
I appreciate the offer Dennis, but I found another one. I haven't got a lot done, but I did get the roof cut & the body primed & painted. I decided on coral & white. forthlin
It's been awhile since my last update. I dropped my camera & destroyed it & my phone cameras pics don't come out very good. I should have it finished this week & I'll take more detailed pics then.
Sledsel
Get some styrene and add the piece at the top of the quarter. Will finish it off nicely.
Force
Eehh...that's a 55. But yes, the long trim on top of the rear fenders are needed for the right look.
BigTallDad
That appears to be a clear top on the front part of the roof. What did you use for it?
Force
The Plexiglass Skyliner Roof Section comes with the kit, a not so common option in warm sunny states and many were exported to colder parts of the World, we have quite a lot of 55 and 56 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliners over here in Sweden. Bob Ellis
Yeah, the Skyliner plastic roof is really a prototype of the Amana Radar Range microwave oven.

Yes, it is a 55, but was the best pic showing the trim I could locate.... My '54 Skyliner I purchased a few years ago.
