Scale-Master
I decided on a green, but not the Testor’s Jade Green I had been leaning towards. I test shot this Tamiya TS-20 over an olive green and didn’t like the coarse look of the metallic. Over yellow it looked much finer. It still needs another couple coats and I might tweak the shade to be a bit louder after I see how it looks with full coverage.
Modlbldr
Nice work. I have one of these that I bought as a rebuilder years ago. I did some further mods to it and need to get back on it. I haven't worked on it since about 2000.Later-
Draggon
Beautiful Mark. Green is my favorite color!
Scale-Master
Full coverage of the metallic green and I decided it did not need to be brighter to go with the black graphics I came up with. The tires from the kit were salvageable.

Scale-Master
It's what can happen when you don't have any plan or idea what it will look like from one day to the next. Although it is starting to gel.
Snake45
If I ever get to my "leftovers" build (after I skim off what I need for one good Mako Shark), I'd like to do it as if it were the production '68-'70 Corvette. But I can't decide on a color.
Scale-Master
The guy that gave me this kit did one very much like you describe in Marina Blue with grey centered Torque Thrusts. It looks great and surprisingly believable as a "stockish" street car.

It looks great and surprisingly believable as a "stockish" street car. That would look great. The only problem I see with anything in the blue family is, at first glance it's going to look like an incorrectly painted Mako Shark. I'm just not seeing a red or yellow on it either, though. Maybe '68 Corvette Bronze, or Milano/Marlboro Maroon, something in that family....
Scale-Master
That is a good point, maybe the aftermarket wheels helped steer it away from me seeing it as a mispainted Mako. I'll bet it would look good in Marlboro Maroon, wonder how it would look with some factory style striping too. Maybe some ZL-1 trim in white...?
