James Maynard
I just got a box of parts and cars from ebay. There are some loose parts that don't go to any of the cars there were in the auction. This weird hood is one of them. It looks like it might go to a Vega. It was molded in red. It's the one in the picture that's bluish grey and has the letters CAF on it. The others I know what they are. If anyone knows what the hood goes to or if you need the hood just let me know.
pack rat
Looks like a '58-'60 T-bird hood. If it's molded in red, I would guess it's from the Monogram "Special Interest Series" '58 from the mid-70's
Yenkocamaro
I agree with Mike. with the shape of the hood, and that scoop, It looks like T bird. Cheers, Lance
Toner283
Pretty sure that it is from a Vega kit. the T bird hoods are more flat all the way across.
Can-Con
Definitely Monogram Thunderbird.
James Maynard
Thanks for the info. I believe you are right about it being a T-bird hood.
disabled modeler
I need a ton of parts but nothing in there are them...definitely a 58 Monogram T-bird hood you have there though.
