Gregg
I am starting a new project, making left-hand drive dashboards for some current and kind of current import kits. Here are some of the possibilities: Fujimi Lexus LS600hL #038797 Aoshima Toyota Van Garson Alphard ZX #048535 Aoshima Crown Hybrid Royal Saloon #008454 Aoshima Odyssey Wagon Fabulous 19” #031261 Aoshima Datsun 720 Truck Cal Look #028438 Fujimi Datsun 311 Fairlady Dayhatsu Datsun 311 Fairlady Aoshima GRS204 Crown Athlete Aimgain #048740 Aoshima Accord Wagon 2.3VTL 1997 CF-6 #028995 Aoshima Hilus RN30 Cal Look Truck #027783 Tamiya 350Z NismoZ #24304 Aoshima Crown Athlete GRS214 #008485 http://www.modelcarsmag.com/Dash/index.html Sorry, the link doesn't open to a new window. Have to see what makes that link work. I know, "target_blank" or something like that... Thoughts? Any other ones to add, that are popular, not just a car you want to see. Thanks.
Greg Wann
Perhaps a 1967 Toyota 2000 GT? And a Datsun 240Z? Edited July 7, 2015 by Greg Wann
Jonathan
The Tamiya RX-7 (First Generation) - The dashboard could probably be used for any of the first gen RX-7's.
Greg Wann
Yes, it is left hand drive. I'm not really sure about my 2000 GT kit
Gregg
Jonathan, that's a good one, the Tamiya and the other one, Fujimi or Aoshima, can't remember which ones. I had dozens of those, curbside ones. The Tamiya is nice, has the motor, but the other ones had those wild body kits. Thanks on that! Russell C
Tamiya Honda CRX. Converted mine to LHD decades back, should have had a resin cast done first, of course...
Danno
ALL the kits I buy already have left-hand drive dashboards.

Greg Wann
The CRX is a good candidate. I have one of those kits somewhere myself. I actually bought it for the wife. We had an 84 that was nice.
Gregg
My top list so far: Aoshima Datsun 720 Pickup Aoshima Toyota Hilux RN 30 Pickup Aoshima Mazda RX7 Tamiya Scion Xb Aoshima S15 Silvia Honda CRX (have to pull out the kit today) then maybe some of the Aoshima Crown/Lexus ones, so can do new Lexus US versions I have four different ones of these. Gregg
Just pulled out CRX kit No need The Fujimi Mugen one has the LHD dash in it!!!!
martinfan5
Aoshima Toyota Van Garson Alphard ZX #048535 Just as an FYI, its mainly a Japanese market vehicle , so a LHD would be pointless.

Ok, you might want to do some research before you go an do LHD for the Crowns, some of them are going to take more work than just a LHD to make a US spec version And another FYI, the Nissan Silvia S15 would not have a LHD period, it was only sold in Japan, Australia and New Zealand And one more FYI Tamiya 350Z NismoZ #24304 Has a LHD in the kit
Gregg
One I forgot, the Toyota Levin (Corolla). That's a good one.
Russell C
...That was the car I was in when I got totaled in Denver way back when..... Didn't know, only caught secondhand info one why you were smiling less some time after that. Put the vibes on the car that creamed you instead, maybe. Just pulled out CRX kit No need The Fujimi Mugen one has the LHD dash in it!!!! That's good to know.
Yoda
The Revell/Monogram Datsun 720 could be a starting point for an LHD dash for the Aoshima 720. The Fujimi CRX is a secondgen, the Tamiya is a firstgen; Tamiya's (recently reissued) mid 80s Civic 4-seater hatchback has an LHD dash that might get you closer. I did one for the Fujimi Prius but it was something of a hack job and the center console relies on painting the interior one of the lighter colors. gasman
Don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but I'd really like a lhd dash for the Tamiya Isuzu Vehicross
blubaja
Don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but I'd really like a lhd dash for the Tamiya Isuzu VehicrossYea! I'd go for a vehicross one as well! The toyota bB/scion xB would work. Needs a new lhd cowl tho, also. There are already a few different lhd dashes for the 90s hilux kits . In resin, and styrene. christian-w
That's a great idea and looks like e huge project On my list (wish) would be the Honda Accord by Aoshima (Type CE1 / CE2) Here a link to scalemates: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/943737-aoshima-017470-accord-wagon as an example

Gregg
Sample quick flip So, with a quick flip, only have to change the gas and brake pedals. This is not to be a perfect exact mod. It's a quick way to get a LHD for a RHD car. Yeah, it's not perfectly exact. But, brah, so what? It's a model car It's a hobby I don't count rivets. I don't care. It's something quick, easy, and from a distance, it will look great Yes, the left hand door panel will only have one switch for the windows/locks, not two or four like an import version, or the wipers will go the wrong way. SO WHAT?If you want to count rivets, or prove you know so much more than me, or anyone else, so what? You are missing the point. Big time. k den I pau... The HiLux could possibly use the dash from the Aoshima 4Runner (HiLux Surf Wide)http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10075837
