Don Grotheer 70 Cuda

Recommended Posts

Well this one is now in the purple pond. I went to work on it and the blue had cracked like crazy over night.

Not sure what went wrong as I have used all the paints and primer before with no issues.

Oh well, the joys of our chosen hobby.

That stinks every time. Just tossed my Sox & Martin Cuda in the pond myself. It was looking pretty cool and then??? The clear leached some kind of pinkish schmutz out of the blue on the roof. Cest la vie.

Yep, I had to just start anotehr body as the purple pond is not cutting it.

Got the fender opening fixed and the body putty work done. Hope to prime it tonight and start the painting this weekend.

I am thinking I did not give the first layer time to dry and maybe that caused the top layer of blue to crack.
