cobraman
Not sure how wise of an idea this is or even if I can pull it off but let's give it a try. Not trying to build a better looking Cobra ( like that's even possible ) but rather just something a bit different. Going to take a ton of work but going to see what happens. Corvette roof on a Cobra ? Is that even legal ? : ) Edited August 27, 2015 by cobraman update

Foxer
Glad to see you going ahead with this.. you have enough stock Cobras to satiate your needs! Â I hope you're going to carry the boat tail downwards and not do a Daytona chop .. eheh.
cobraman
It will have the boat tail. Hopefully. : )
1930fordpickup
What if you curved the boat tail down the back of the car so as to not lose  the feature but not make the car longer?  Pie cut the top at the back so that you can bend it down?Just a thought Ray. I will stop meddling in your cool project now.
cobraman
Andy, I always welcome ideas. Sometimes I even use them . : )
Scale-Master
I like the idea and am curious to see how you reconcile the fit of the rear.
cobraman
I have made some more progress on this. I have the first round of putty done but as you can see I have more to do. I was not sure what to do with the back end. Good or bad I finally decided to cut and section the front of a 40 Ford hood and attach that to the bottom to form sort of a stinger. Not sure if this was the best way to handle it but I could not think of anything better.
BIGTRUCK
Thats one way to do it, pretty clever solution
Foxer
Using a piece of 40 Ford nose looks to be a good solution to get the form there.
