花火
well as it can be see in the pics, any idea how can I make the transparent parts looks more real? the touch face in the transparent parts between other parts looks so unreal. Should I paint that face in the same color as green?? thanks in advance.
fseva
You mean just the frame around the glass, right? Yes, I can see how that stands out from the green. I personally think that you've got the right solution - just carefully paint the edge where it's showing up white with the green.

StevenGuthmiller
Depending on what you're looking for, you could paint the "flange" area on the body black. Steve
espo
I agree with Steven, you should go with black. This would represent a black rubber seal between the body and the clear light cover. Try just a light coat of black from a Sharpie on the edge of the clear plastic. Your model looks great.

The real race-car has no "black rubber seal", and the light covers are mounted with quarter-turn fasteners for quick lamp replacement during a race. b-body fan
I would try some future along the edge. It may make it less white looking and more clear. If it doesn't work you will not have lost anything. trying a color will still be possible. Hope this helps.
Harry Joy
I do not think you have a problem. Comparing your pic to the real item, yours looks right. Anything you try to do to diminish it would probably serve instead to make it stand out more.
Snake45
Yes, paint your edges green. Seems to be the best solution to your problem.

Steve I've been to MAZDA MUSEUM in Hiroshima, Japan July this year and I saw this car my own eyes. just as you can see in pic, this car doesn't have 'black rubber seal'
Skip
This looks like an application for vacuum forming a new pair of light covers out of thin clear sheet. You will be using the original covers to make the vacuum forming bucks. This is similar to what the aircraft modelers have been doing forever. The formed parts will have the thin formed clear cover that you are looking for; assuming that was what you were asking in your original version of the question. There should even be a You Tube tutorial or two on how to vacuum form clear model parts out there look up model aircraft canopies.
