Hi guys, this is only my second big scale, 1/12 67 Corvette.

I have pumped the guards by about 6 scale inches, fabricated the front and rear spoilers and uprights for it.

The rear of the chassis was narrowed, and the wheels were made from 2 different sets, + made sleaves for width, as i have NO  large scale parts

Motor is basic blown injected 427 Big block,.

This is how much the guards were pumped.

Wow! Very cool! And man oh man, I love that shade of blue.

And thank goodness you showed an example, otherwise I would have had no clue what "pump the guards" means!    Here in the states we call them "fenders"... :P

BTW.. it looks like those rear "guards" could have stood a bit more "pumping"... ;)

Dale, H E A V Y. Very nicely done. Any pictures of under the hood.

Ken.

Thank you all, Ken, here is a pic mate, pretty basic as the main emphasis on this one was the over all "LOOK" so to speak.

Harry, i don't think those fenders would take any more pumping, they are on the absolute tolerance of the plastic i think, ready to snap.
