angelo7
Scarily good build. From The Munsters TV show, of one my favorite shows. Your build here was featured in the episode titled: "Hot Rod Herman".

Dave Ambrose
Very nice indeed. Did you drill out the pipes, or fabricate new ones from tubing? If you did drill them out, how did you do it? I've had a lot of problems drilling "baloney tip" pipes.
Alan
Nice, where did you source the rear tires from?
Dann Tier
Thanx, guys! First off, Dave, I scratch built those organ pipes, but I have drilled them out before on another one. First I find the center of the elliptical tip, then I carefully make an indent with a straight pin. Next I start drilling at an angle away from the peak of the pipe, and as I drill, I slowly move the bit upright until it drills straight down the pipe. DONT use too small of a bit at first, or it may SNAP! To finish it off, I take a new blade, and carefully ream-out the end. hope this helps! -Alan, the rear tires came out of the Revell Big John 41 Willys kit. thanx for the interest guys! mrindy77
Funky ride....the ornate detail on the coffin would definitely benefit from some different shades of gold and brown wash to really make the detail pop.
