Couldn't help it, had to try it in there. Looks like the generator & compressor will have to come up top as in the 3rd pic.

That rad will likely be too tall.

Can anyone guess the approximate wheelbase of this puppy. I think I may have to shorten the frame a bit.

Looking awesome....I like that old pic....It looks awesome in orange.....

That was taken about 50 years ago. It is at least a 64 as we found out above by the windshield pillars, and in 68 the company went to a yellow/gold/ orange with white doors.

Raised the compressor & generator & made new belts. Better fit. Easier to service too.;)

Put some wheels on to determine the size of the fenders I'll scratch build. Winch is from AITM. Stole some round tanks from the Snap Pete.

   Pat,

That motor looks really good in the chassis. I like your plan for the rear fenders.  Where did you get the winch? I could use a couple like that.

Marc, I got the winch at AITM. They also have the tower but I plan to scratchbuild mine.

Decorated the tanks.

Then started making some exhaust pipes out of solder & small plastic tubing (actually sucker sticks). Had to move the oil filter to the front.

It looks like it'll clear everything.

In my case it is because of the effect they had on me as a kid in the 50's. I was fascinated by the B-61 the wholesale grocer who came to the general store in my village had. There were R & S Internationals all over the place because ther was only one local dealer, IH.He also sold cars, first Packards, then Stude, then AMC. I remember a red 57 or so GMC dump truck that looked exactly like the one I had in my sandbox. Somehow the old trucks still turn my crank while the new ones are like appliances to me.
