Agent G
Revell's '69 Camaro with my grandson's personal touch. All airbrushed by him using Aztek and Tamiya acrylics. We used clipart and printed our own decals on Micro Scale decal paper. The boy's 12 and has been turning out some stellar builds here lately. vintagedragcrazy
That is awsome that you work with him and his build shows he must have taught him well because that is as nice as any adult could do and for only being 12 look out in the future he's going to be in the magazine pretty soon!!! Great job I'm looking forward to teaching my grandson but he's only five but he sure wants to build we have done several snap kits already.vince

GTJUNIOR
Very nice work for a 12 year old. A little more practice and he'll be turning out show quality models in no time.
Agent G
Thanks Tony. The kid built a 1/35 scale German tank earlier this year that is absolutely top notch. All I did was give him vague instructions and let him go.This one required a bit more monitoring and instruction with the airbrush, but he took right to it.G
nicknkim14
With all the video games and phones and ipads out there,it's great to see a kid build something with his hands, great job!!!
Danno
And, he did well at Modelzona! {Hand-off to proud Grampa for the full announcement!}
Agent G
Yes indeed, the little builder cleaned up at Modelzona. The boy placed first with a tank, second with a ship and a third for this and a bust of Frankenstein. It was quite gratifying to see all the junior entries. Modelzona itself is growing by leaps and bounds. I love the venue, who can argue with a hanger full of vintage aircraft, and the staff do a great job. Hats off to the Phoenix area modellers! (You didn't do so bad yourself Danno!) G
Skip
When you first posted this one from the title I didn't connect Dallas Cowboys, I was thinking cowboy Camaro. As in what in the world does a Camaro have to do with Cowboys, I was picturing some sort of hideous Cow themed paint scheme!! I think I saw it like about 03:00 hours, I was relieved it wasn't a cow paint scheme and surprised at how nice it looked, great job. (Don't blame me I take my iPad to work, when I work nights. So I can keep up on stuff and not use the taxpayer's computer, don't get in trouble that way!)
