geetee66
Finished at last! I didn't like this kit when I started it about 8 weeks ago. There were a lot of things to put right. Some terrible mould lines and deformed parts. This was also my 1st go at using decals. They were a lot trickier than I'd imagined. By the end of it though, I had grown to like it and when the chrome went on, it transformed it. I used an MCG photoetch grille set, but decided not to use all the badges and emblems...I reckoned the body looked busy enough without them. Paint and clear was Halfords spray-can and a ton of elbow-grease. Hope you like it

sdrodder
that is nice. It looks like the scalops are realy painted on. It think you realy did a good job and making it traditional like back in the 50s is even better. You get an a+++++++++ cant wait to see your next build. W-409
That looks great! Paintjob is awesome, very shiny and smooth. Those scallops are looking very good on this, wheels and tires are very good looking, and stance is great. Where are those decals from? Looking really good, I like it. oldscool
Hey geetee, that is just a beautiful old school mild custom. One of the best classic kits ever. Too bad the molds are so worn. If I may offer one little suggestion it is that you have the tail lights on the wrong sides. If you look closely you will see that they angle toward the outside a bit. If you swap them side for side they will be in alignment with the fenders. This doesn't mean that I don't like your model. I think it is outstanding!
