f1ford48
excellent work- heres the Jouef one I did a long time ago-it needed lots of work- yours is a lot nicer model to start with. where do you get your decals ?
tedd60
Another beautiful model. I have the Jouef version as well ... no where near as nice.Did you do the under hood work too? It's REALLY nice.
tedd60
I got curious about the silver paint and door number that both modeling companies put on this car. It turns out that this is a pretty important car: http://carlassic.com/ferrari-250-gt-swb/I also looked images of other 250 GT Berlinetta SWB's and saw that there are others painted in different colors. I especially like the very dark red or very dark blue on this car. Something to think about if I decide to pretty mine up a bit.
modifier
I used to have 2 Jouef versions red and yellow I repainted the red one and sold them both later on. If you are reffering to round white decals they are from ebay, look for Oracal 650 sheets they come in different colors perfect for rounds and racing stripes you just need a hobby circle cutter and knife. For sponsor decals try http://members.optusnet.com.au/pattosplace/home.html The decals below I made it myself and had this guy printed it for me
f1ford48
Thank you for the decal info- yes those old Joueff models needed lots of help. we did what we could because they were all that was available back then!!! Here is an early Hotwheels California Spyder I repainted body and interior. the Hotwheels cars have come a long way....
