MOPARmaniac
Hey guys and this time I will be doing a small project before Christmas. THE DRAGULA!!!!!!!!!!! After christmas when I buy another car i hope to build a gasser. I got this car at a yard sale for a dollar and its because its missing some stuff and the person who tried to build it before i did put it all together without painting it and also didn't glue anything in the right place. So its a little screwed up.
MOPARmaniac
Like I said, the person who had this last screwed a lot of stuff up, and one of the biggys was the engine. The put a big glob of glue where the crankshaft pulley goes and they broke the fan belts off. So after a little research, I found out that Dragula had a ford mustang engine and thought, I have a mustang why not take the engine out of that. And so, that's exactly what i did. The kit still has the superchargers and the intake so we are good to go.

Sledsel
What kit is that engine from? It looks to be an FE engine (390/427) The Dragula had a 289 small block. That FE engine may not fit in there.Other than that, I am watching the save.

kenb
Google dragula engine. There are some good pictures there. YouTube has a few good videos on the dragula. It was a 302 with a 2 four barrel cross ram manifold. Ken

MOPARmaniac
I looked at the real engine and saw that it had 2 separate fuel lines that came together and were held together with a bigger piece of hose Edited December 20, 2015 by MOPARmaniac
MOPARmaniac
What do you guys think? Should I cut the hood off and make hinges as well as the canopy or just leave it alone?
Dann Tier
Looking good!, If you think you might keep adding engine detail, then I would open it up.
Agent G
I think we could be more constructive if you photos were clearer. It appears you are doing some great work, but the pics are way to out of focus.G
