The Creative Explorer
In another topic I was happy about finding my holy grail and there was a request to post some inbox photo's for all the 'mortals' that don't have the kit (JK). So, here it is, and it is a lot! before I owned the kit, I was very intrigued by the aluminium panels. But once I have it, I found that there is so much more to this kit. Much more. Most of you know the box 'art': A look inside the box only shows the tires, sprues and the alu panels Underneath the alu panels is a box containing the next: A Tamiya sanding sheet We have the alu panels itself Look at the details of the louvres, amazing Aluminium brackets Carpeting for the interior The wheels Clear sheet for the windshield, material for the airfilter and more This is a bit more common by Tamiya kits: fabric seatbelts. The Creative Explorer
Some wires, and a screwdriver More aluminium panels First bag of diverse screws Second bag of divers screws Metal bars Aluminium floorpanel and parts of the aifilter Which come with stamped in 'K&N" Aluminium windshield, front and back Aluminium floorpan, front grille and metal brackets And a all metal & polished exhaust system
The Creative Explorer
The middle section contains all the plastic sprues, which are not a whole lot The chrome is nice, albeit a bit think This sprue contains 2 little holes, which are in fact 2 practice holes for getting familliar to those little screws And last but not least, the remaining body panels. although they are 4 fenders and the nose cone, rest is aluminium The other box, underneath the tires contains the following: The tires Some more metal parts (suspension, DeDion axle and a wrench) The spaceframe The engine with gearbox And the clearparts I hope you do like the in-box review

Roncla
These photos just rub it in that I should have grabbed one when they were in production. There were three different versions of this kit if my memory is correct.
