Thnx Wayne,...not sure of it's history,..but two out of the three are custom? and one is a stock (upper lights and bumpers)...so looking to cast some up,...NEW Territory

Smoothed the chrome trim on cab back corners....(Lorider gets full chrome)

Filled the grille and got rid of the wipers,..(have some DetailMaster..DM-2003)  for later

Now that I look at it all up close and ,...vent windows, gotta go...

The interior is molded ribbed floor,..

this may go into overtime...

The kit is an AMT/Ertl 1999 release...except for the engine....

The Pegasus wheels got a Testors Dullcoat to start,.then a couple of washes of Tamiya flat black / Future mix,..

Then some Mineral spirits on a Q-Tip to remove some wash from the high spots,..

Then another Dullcoat treatment,..

The rims stayed a little shinier, no wash there,.. which is what I wanted.

Thanks James,..Dan, the vents will stay on the lo rider, not this one..

Got some things into paint

East / West Coast,... Malibu/Nantucket Chevrolet Blue sorta colour

 

50/50 colour and 99% Alcohol Thru the A/B @ 24 psi... (really have to push that craft smart paint!!)

Because of the addition of discs all around,...scratched up a new master cylinder

Frame with first washes applied

Threw some more paint around...and it landed on some stuff

I tried sanding that craft paint,....NoNoNo....

Just keep spraying coats, then wait an hour and,... 100% cover your last coat...gotta keep an eye on this stuff ,...it's really light

I went with the Black bed, cause y'know,....it's my daily driver and....it's gotta stand up to some punishment,..Likesliding in a case-O-beer

Got some plans for that interior....

The streetmachine kit comes with a single sealed beam front head light unit,...Blechhh:wacko:

so I ground the back of the headlight bucket out and filled with flat stock and double alum. bezels
