crowe-t
I'm looking for embossing powder to use as carpeting in a tan color that will be a somewhat match to Tamiya Desert Yellow.Does anyone know of a particular brand/color or will I have to just get something close and possibly paint over it. espo
I have been using Zing embossing powder. I'll cover the floor with a thinned Elmer's Glue and water, then sprinkle the Zing on and let it dry. I have also tried Jewel-IT fabric embellishing adhesive. After the Zing has dried I shake the excess off and return it to the container. Then a couple of light coats of paint in what ever color carpet you're going for. The Zing and Jewel-It were purchased at JoAnn's Fabrics. The Zing is used is for scrape booking and the Jewel-It is used to attach sequins and rhinestones too Blue Jeans. I still like Ken's Kustom Fuzzi-Fur the best.
StevenGuthmiller
Check out ebay. I bought this set a while back & it covers most any color you could need. The company is called "Hamilton Art" & this set cost a little under $15.00. They have many other sets as well if this is not what you're looking for. You can also mix these for a custom color. ProZach
Ebay has fuzzy nail flocking out of China. Make sure you get the large containers, the picture show the 12 small containers for $3.99 + free ship. I'm not sure the different colors or sizes, but the small might do a rear deck or rear floor board, not sure about doing both. Hope this helps!
