ChrisR
I bought this Aardvark model about twenty five years ago. As it was my first resin model I didn't prep the body and got lots of fish eyes in the paint. Once again not knowing I put the model in brake fluid to remove the paint with disastrous results. I cleaned the parts and put it in a box until last year. At our local SA NNL someone issued a challenge to build an old Italian sports car. I thought that my modelling skills have improved a bit over the years and it was time to try and salvage the Maserati. After lots of superglue, filler and primer this is the result. Bernard Kron
Yes, nice save. I would love to know more about this kit and its history. I assume it's a curbside but just the exposed portion of the birdcage would be a tour de force of kit design. Doing it justice, as you have, must be very satisfying.
