StevenGuthmiller
The '53 Chevy has never been one of my favorite cars, but when you see one this nicely done, it's hard to argue that it's not beautiful!Nice work Tulio! Steve

Lizard Racing
Great model work and photography! One would think that's a picture of a 1:1 car. Which is the point.

carrucha
Good build. I have the same kit and I agree that the radial tires are awful. I just have to find whitewall tires that will fit the large factory stock wheels.
fseva
What's not to like?! I wish my builds were as good as your "four day Chevy adventure"!

Lovefordgalaxie
Thanks gentlemen!!Good build. I have the same kit and I agree that the radial tires are awful. I just have to find whitewall tires that will fit the large factory stock wheels.Great source for tires are the Monogram '53 Corvette kit, and '55 Thunderbird. The whitewalls need to be sanded a bit to accept the Bel Air wheels, but nothing big.

carro
Love the subject and that paint job is beautiful. What did you use for the radiator hose clamps?
Lovefordgalaxie
Love the subject and that paint job is beautiful. What did you use for the radiator hose clamps? The radiator hose clamps are actually molded on the hose itself. I just painted them silver after painting the hose flat black. Speedfreak
Oh God... When you have seven cats, cats hair is on places you couldn't even imagine!! Not to mention I don't even bother buying new sofas... I have a collection of those adhesive little rolls to remove cats hair from the clothes before going out!! LOL, I missed this post before Tulio, I too have cats, and, lint rollers, and , a sofa with stuffing coming out of the front of the arms, (the rest of the house is unscathed) , but , i love my cats more than sofas! Very funny!
