Well,it's been slow going but finally making a little bit of progress.Learned from my mistakes on my White Western Star and found out Easy Off in the yellow can is the best dechromer(and boy there's a lot of chrome on this kit).Anyway,I still turn to this forum for inspiration and expertise!

Hi --

I'm assuming you are using KJ's 2-hole drive wheels ?

I'm working on a project with them -- my first time with resin wheels.  Can I ask how you attached them ?

With the older AMT kits, that metal rod they use with the kit hubs is about half the diameter of the axle housings, so there is a ton of slop.  Plus, its way smaller than the hole in the Double Take hub.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Yes Jeff, they are KJ's wheels. It's been a little while since I've worked on the truck but as I recall the fit was pretty good.I don't recall anything out of the ordinary. If anything I may have used a dab of super glue.Good luck with your project!
