jdhog
Hey guys. Here's my little 57 Cameo. I want it in the weeds. I cheated by gluing the axles to the frame sans springs. The paint is Wicked Colors Pearl Tangerine over silver with Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel clear coat. Edited April 3, 2016 by jdhog
CFMgarage
Great start, I love that color! You can easily make some reverse leaf spring mounts though for more realistic lowering Edited April 1, 2016 by CFMgarage
Crazy Ed
JD, I'm not a big fan of the Cameo. But I AM a big fan of a Good Looking Paint Job AND Good Photography. On both counts Well Done! Edited April 1, 2016 by Crazy Ed
jdhog
Great start, I love that color! You can easily make some reverse leaf spring mounts though for more realistic lowering I know. I should probably do that. I have another Cameo on the shelf.

jdhog
I have been able to get a little more done to the Cameo. I made a bed cover out of an old CD jewel case. I have found that the kit chrome is in pretty bad shape. I think I will strip it and shoot Alclad.

Foxer
I like your thinking about getting it down ... we all need to just have fun and not get too detailed about things that wont be seen. It is looking really good!

jdhog
It's getting closer to completion. I shoehorned the motor from the 2006 Camaro Concept into the engine bay.
Intmd8r
That's a good looking truck - you should be proud of this one.
Spex84
You're such a cheating cheater! Looks great I have one of these on the bench, and trying to notch the frame/build suspension links/etc etc really stalled it. I should have just glued the axles to the frame! I like the forward rake you gave this truck, and the orange paint is unique. Sweet.
