Hi, I started this a while ago. The cab was an ebay buy but it was bad so I cut the back off & made it a crew cab. The cab has been sitting around for years & I finally figured I'd do some work to it. I stretched the frame & built the body from scratch. I have more pictures but I can't load them, something about the size of the picture or something. I'm not a computer person at all. This & ebay is about all I can handle. Anyway I'll get some more pics as I go & hopefully I'll be able to load them.

I like the crew cab, it looks like you did a good job on that. Your scratchbuilt wrecker is really nice.

As far as computer skills. You are not alone in that department ! lol

Off to a great start, I'd say.

What kit did this cab come from or is it a scratch build extension that you made?

Looks really good. The cab looks to be done perfectly and the bed looks great so far and fits the age well. In my opinion those are the best looking crew cabs ever built.

That Holmes wrecker bed looks really good, but I'm not in love with the hubcaps. I don't think they would work with the heavy duty wheel on these trucks. Either way, nice progress and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

It's been a while but I've started working on my wrecker again. I had a problem with it being an automatic so I built a 4 speed with with a power take off, it just makes more sense.

My computer crapped out so I just got a different one. I did some work on the cab again, I fixed the windshield & added the driprail. I did some more work on the engine too. I'll get more pics soon. Thanks for looking!

I got the engine about done with some wiring. The chassis is almost done too, I need to add some front brake lines and finish the pto for the winch.

I got some paint on it finally. I have to give the roof a redo, I came out bad. I think I'm going give it a white roof this time.

I see what you mean. Those are some nice wreckers you built.
